Design Development and Prototyping
This project required me to review and improve an existing pallet spacer designed to improve the cooling capabilities of a large meat-freezing company within Brisbane. The client requested four full-scale pallets to test its capabilities before committing to large-scale production via injection moulding. This was achieved by printing 49 sections and glueing them together to form a pull 1150mm x 1150mm pallet.
The testing was a huge success and the client is looking to move to tooling and production within the year.
